Life update

I know what you're thinking..."Finally, a new post!"

Well, I have been trying to improve my health and decided to try and walk 10,000 steps a day...which hasn't left me much time for blogging...and it's also left me a bit sore! My son got me a pedometer for my birthday and since then I've been tracking my steps. Depending on the day, I usually need to take a purposeful walk of about 45 minutes to an hour. My averages for the months of February and March have been about 9,500 steps a day so I'm getting there. I've often started on some sort of exercise routine only to drop it after getting discouraged. I decided that I would just keep plugging along with this and even if I get a low step day, that's okay! I just try to make it up when I can, if I can. If I can't, then that's okay too. I'm also slowly adding in things like yoga, situps, jumping jacks, and light weights.

In addition to exercise, work has kept me busy...both with preschool and my supply coordinator job. I am enjoying it though so I can't complain, at least not too much! Of course, there's been our everyday family life -- school, soccer, girl scouts, volunteering, clubs, choosing courses for next year etc.! We've had a bunch of birthdays and my husband and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary. Whew! February and March were full. We did manage to do our little family photo a day for February so once I get some layouts set up for that, I will post them.

And finally there are the bunnies...we got two rabbits in November and have gone through the whole neutering and spaying process for each (we have a male and a female). But they recently started not getting along after having already bonded! It's been a puzzle but we finally decided to get two cages to keep the peace. It's sad though. They used to be so cute together! We're hoping to try to see if they will bond again at some point. Any bunny advice would be greatly appreciated!
Here they are back when they would work together to untie my shoelaces!

I hope to be back soon with some actual artwork!
